Female Character Sidescroller Template - Locomotion & Attacks (+ Demon-Slayer attack vfx)
A downloadable asset pack
Pixel-art animated character for platformer/sidescroll games with 8 different animation. You can use them as a template to make your own characters.
More animation will come in the future (hopefully, but not promising anything).
If you like this asset and hope to see future work of this type, be sure to leave a comment and rate this asset (and if possible donate what you think this asset deserves).
Animations:
- Idle
- Run
- Jump
- Roll
- Dash.
- Grounded Attack Combo (3 Different Attacks).
Bonus Animation:
- Fire-based Attack (similar to "Demon Slayer" anime).
- Water-based Attack (similar to "Demon Slayer" anime).
Sprite dimension:
- Female Character Locomotion: 64x64 px
- Female Character Attack: 160x80 px
Individual sprite, sprite sheet and the original .aseprite file included
Additional Notes:
- This asset is made on Aseprite v1.3-beta14, so it is preferred to use the same version or above as I cannot promise backward compatibility with older versions.
- The dash animation is composed of two basic frames, you can repeat them to extend the dash duration for using it in game engines.
- All of the frames in every frame is centered, so that it can be used directly in game engines.
- The character is lifted up one pixel, in case you want to make an outline to the character.

Thanks to you, my debug characters are no longer boring rectangles :)
Something like a crouch or a slide animation would be nice, but this is already a great baseline. Thanks again ^^
Thank you very much for this pack ! I have more of a programing background but thanks to you I am less intimidated by trying to learn animation !
If you wish for more ideas and have free time, i can recommend
- a crouch/ crouch walk animation
- Sliding animation
-Interactions with walls
Have a Happy New year !
thank!
You are welcome
if you want other animation don't hesitate to ask
I will try to add them when I have free time ❤
